President's Message

At Visit Tri-Cities, we get pretty excited about the summer season. There is an undeniable energy around town and the number of festivals, outdoor activities, and entertainment becomes so plentiful that you need a scheduling assistant just to make sure you don’t miss anything. The Visit Tri-Cities Calendar of Events allows you explore all there is to offer either by date, or by type of event. If food is your thing, the Tri-Cities boasts Food Truck Fridays, featuring entrepreneurs who have taken up the age-old method of street vending. Did you miss this year’s Taco Crawl? Don’t worry, the VTC staff have put together a list of favorites…. not to brag but we did win the 2019 Taco Crawl Business Brawl along with our friends at Numerica Credit Union.

Make sure you schedule time to visit one of the nine Tri-Cities Farmers’ Markets that can be found around town almost any day of the week. Each market features fresh produce and artisanal local products, your taste buds are sure to thank you! In the summer months the region’s tasting rooms are brimming with activities, from special winemaker dinners, to concerts, to 5K fun runs; allowing wine enthusiasts to combine their love of wine with local summer celebrations.

The Tri-Cities is known for its summer festivals. Hogs & Dogs, Cool Desert Nights and the Mariachi Festival in June; followed by 4th of July festivities, Columbia Cup Hydroplane Boat Race Weekend and Art in the Park in July; are complimented by weekly activities such as the Live at 5 Concert Series at John Dam Plaza, Thunder on the Island Concert Series on Clover Island, and Sunset at Southridge events. Sundown in Tri-Town at Volunteer Park in Pasco is one more great opportunity for music, food and fun, which happens monthly June through August.

Make plans soon to join us, before the summer slips away.
