Join us on October 7, 2017 for a unique experience at the formerly top-secret B Reactor! With the inclusion of the Hanford B Reactor in the new Manhattan Project National Historical Park, more people than ever before have been able to experience this once secret and restricted area. The Department of Energy is once again providing access for 100 cyclists to take part in a variable distance ride mountain bike or cyclocross ride utilizing both gravel and paved roads beginning and ending at the B Reactor. The $60 registration fee will include the bike ride, catered lunch and a tour of the B Reactor; proceeds will be donated to the local non-profit organization supporting the Hanford Unit of the new Manhattan Project National Historical Park. Donations will help provide education and access at the B Reactor.
