Artisan Butchery Workshop

Columbia Basin College's Hospitality program will host its first ever fundraiser, an Artisan Butchery workshop in three individual sessions June 20, 21 and 22, 2018. The half-day, hands-on sessions will be held at Meals on Wheels in Richland and feature masters of meat: Tracy Smaciaz and Pat Mallon.

WHAT: Columbia Basin College's Hospitality program host first fundraiser with a culinary focus; a half-day session of butchering, filleting, cooking and mastering beef know-how.

Participants will take home tools of the trade: knife, apron, cutting board, beef chart and -12 pounds of personally carved beef, plus an autographed photo with instructors

Sessions culminate in a family style barbecue of freshly ground hamburgers and sides not to be missed

Each session is limited to 15 participants to ensure individual, hands-on-experience
