Washington Wine Country Taste and Tote: New Program Increases Ease and Affordability of Area Travel

The Tri-Cities Visitor & Convention Bureau, Yakima Valley Visitors & Convention Bureau, Tourism Walla Walla, and Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance announce the launch of a new collaborative effort with Alaska Airlines and Enterprise Rent-A-Car to promote Washington Wine Country. Launching September 2012, Washington Wine Country "Taste and Tote" will make it easier and more affordable to taste and travel the Tri-Cities, Yakima Valley, and Walla Walla Valley wine regions.

Jehovah’s Witnesses Conventions Draw Thousands of Visitors to the Tri-Cities

Tri-Cities, WA - The Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses' (CCJW) annual conventions will take place in the Tri-Cities this summer on four separate weekends. During the weekends of July 6-8, July 13-15, August 2-4, and August 9-11 convention attendees will convene at the Toyota Center in Kennewick and will stay at hotels throughout the Tri-Cities.

Triple Crown Baseball Tournament Attracts Thousands of Visitors to the Tri-Cities

The Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau has announced that Triple Crown Sports’ will be hosting a Father’s Day Slugfest in the Tri-Cities June 15-17, 2012. An estimated 4,000 players, coaches, and spectators will travel from throughout the Northwest to attend the three day event.

Tri-Cities Sports Tournaments Draw Thousands to the Tri-Cities Over Memorial Day Weekend

The Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau reports that a number of sporting events are scheduled to take place in the Tri-Cities this Memorial Day Weekend. Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) is holding their 3A/4A State Baseball Championships, 1A State Softball Championships, and 3A/4A State Tennis Championships at different facilities throughout the Tri-Cities Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26. In addition, the Clean and Sober Softball Association’s Prairie Dog Memorial Tournament and the Pasco Little League Memorial Day Classic will be taking place.

143 Softball Teams to Convene in the Tri-Cities this Weekend

The Tri-Cities is hosting the National Softball Association (NSA) of Washington's Ice Breaker Girls Fastpitch Tournament, April 13-15. This is the largest tournament in NSA of Washington's history as 143 teams from throughout the Northwest will be competing. Over 5,000 players, coaches, and spectators are participating in this event, which will bring an estimated $1,237,500 in visitor spending to the local economy.

Alaska Airlines CEO to Address Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau at Annual Meeting

Bill Ayer, Chairman and CEO of Alaska Airlines, will visit the Tri-Cities to speak at the Annual Meeting of the Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau. Alaska Airlines is the nation's ninth-largest airline, with 9,000 employees, serving 60 destinations.

New Satellite Visitor Information Center Opens at TRAC

The Tri-Cities Visitor and Convention Bureau, in conjunction with TRAC Center and Washington River Protection Solutions, announce the opening of a new visitor information center located in Pasco. The information center is located inside of TRAC and includes complimentary guides, brochures, and information on Tri-Cities area attractions and activities. Tri-Cities Plays Host to another Large Sports Tournament for the Second Consecutive Weekend

Tri-Cities, Wash –The Tri-Cities hits another homerun for the month of June as the National Softball Association State Championship gets underway this Friday, June 24. Nearly 4,500 players, coaches, and spectators will be visiting the Tri-Cities this upcoming weekend and will spend an estimated $1,282,500 in the local economy. Fields and facilities in Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland will be used by 130 different teams, whose players vary in age from 10-18 years old.
