Ride the Reactor Information


Join us on September 21, 2019, for a unique experience at the formerly top-secret B Reactor National Historic Landmark, a centerpiece of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park at Hanford. Up to 150 cyclists can join this variable-distance mountain bike or cyclocross ride, which will begin and end at the B Reactor and utilize both gravel and paved roads.  The $40 registration fee includes the bike ride, catered lunch and a tour of the B Reactor.  

Ride Day Information:
7:30 a.m. Check-in / Packet Pick-up at the Manhattan Project National Historical Park Hanford Visitor Center, located at 2000 Logston Blvd., Richland
8:30 a.m. Gates Open
9:30 a.m. Ride Starts
11:00 a.m. BBQ Begins
12:30 p.m.
Course Closes
1:00 p.m. Presentations by Bike Tri-Cities & National Park Service
2:00 p.m. Event Concludes

Payment & Liability/Photo Release Forms:

Visit Tri-Cities is collecting the required liability/photo release forms and $40 registration donation on behalf of the Benton Franklin River Heritage Foundation.

Participant limit for this event is 150 riders. The event is first come, first served based on receipt of payment and liability/photo release forms.

Donation Information: The $40 registration fee is a non-refundable, tax-deductible donation to the Benton Franklin River Heritage Foundation.

Refund Policy: Due to the nature of this donation, absolutely no refunds will be given.

**All payment and liability/photo release forms must be completed and returned to the Visit Tri-Cities Visitor Center by Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
