A musical, theatrical, magical, and "beanical" family experience, MAGIC BEANS features the adventurous and fun kids' music of Eric Herman and the Puppy Dogs and the jaw-dropping hula hooping of Hillia Hula, as well as creatively eye-popping video projections and special effects, and poignant and comedic scenes and sketches. The show is a one-of-a-kind hybrid family concert/stage show, which dares to ask what it means to exist. The show debuted to raves in March of 2022 at the Princess Theatre in Prosser, WA, but this new production at Richland's Uptown Theater promises 12% more magic.

Performances are November 17-19 at 7 pm, with a 2 pm matinee on November 19. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and $12 for kids 10 and under. The premiere show on November 17 includes a free CD/DVD per group/family.

Eric Herman, a longtime Tri-Cities resident, has performed nearly 3,000 shows across the United States. Herman has won multiple awards for his nine albums and two DVD collections, and his music videos have over 100 million views worldwide. Herman's Puppy Dogs band includes area musicians Ben Macy, Dave Pettey, and Gavin Spurr, and Prosser actor Cliff Gamble is featured as the main character, Professor Physics J. McSciencepants. Herman is directing, and he and Gamble co-wrote the scenes and are producing the show together.
