The Fresh Picks Cherry Blossom Run 2025

Overview

Come springtime in the “Basin” – the world is waking and the blossoms are flowering and everything is turning green. It really is beautiful! With all the white cherry pedals falling covering the ground it gets almost white like snow… We have been able to enjoy all the blossoms, fun colors, and aromas for years. We thought, well, why not invite everyone to come and see it and experience all the beauty of spring for themselves.

This run is designed for kids and families of all ages. For the marathon competitive athlete to the 9 month pregnant mom with a stroller and for our older runners who still got it.. Congrats to our oldest runner last year- he was 82 years old. And, yes, we did have a 9 month pregnant mom with a stroller and she rocked it and then did it again just for fun (no stroller this time). True story! So, what were saying is you can do it!

Details:

– The Fresh Picks Cherry Blossom Run will be held on Saturday April 19, 2025

– The run includes: a 1mi | 5K | and a 10K option

– The race is designed to run through the Cherry Blossoms across the Rowley and Hawkins Fruit Farms in Basin City.

– It is open to all ages and skill levels.

– Moms and dads with running/jogging strollers are 100% ok and encouraged so you can bring the whole family out.

– For the competitive runner this race will be timed and each runner will get a bib with a chip in it to track their time.

– For everyone else, you may run, walk, or jog (there is no pressure)

– We mostly want people to get outside and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful white Cherry Blossoms as spring awakens in the area.

– Grab a friend, or a co worker and sign up today helping us to bring “Blossoms of Hope for 2025”

– There will be food and bathrooms will be available on the course and at the main event…

– For those who are not able to run there will be a hayride wagon that will take you out into the blossoms! (for a mini farm tour)
