Now in its 30th year, the Tumbleweed Music Festival is an annual, free, family-friendly celebration of acoustic folk music, crafts, and culture in Richland.
Presented by the Three Rivers Folklife Society (3RFS), the annual three-day folk festival, one of Tri-Cities’ longstanding annual events, returns to Richland on the first weekend of September, featuring over 100 free performances by local musicians and other performers from across the Pacific Northwest. Hosted along the banks of the Columbia River on Labor Day Weekend, the event invites folk fans of all ages to celebrate the end of summer as they sing and dance to sea chanteys, bluegrass, blues, Celtic music, and other spirited acoustic performances.
