Black Heron Spirits is a small distillery in the shadow of Red Mountain, in West Richland, Washington. Our production facility was carved out of Eastern Washington’s inland desert, just over the ridge from some of the Northwest’s most celebrated vineyards and wineries.
With the advent and variety of craft breweries sweeping the nation (there are nine in the Tri-Cities area of Washington), it’s not surprising that independent craft distillers are steadily growing and creating their own unique spirits, too.
These Tri-Cities establishments are among the best Washington state distilleries, and they take pride in crafting unique spirits using local organic ingredients like Columbia Valley grapes, Washington State grains, cranberries, Rainier cherries and Cascade Mountain spring water.
