MCBONES Coyote Canyon Mammoth Site Summer Tours
October 5, 11:00am
In need of something fun and interesting to do this summer, sign-up for a tour at the Coyote Canyon Mammoth Site, located in Tri-Cities, WA. The main attraction at the dig are the remains of an ancient mammoth, thought to have grazed the plains around the Tri-Cities 15,000 years ago.
Tours generally last about 1.5 to 2 hours and includes a presentation about the history, discovery and findings at the site, plus there is a guided tour of the laboratory activities and displays of key specimens and the interpretive panels. The remaining time is spent out at the dig site.
Schedule the tour for the meeting location!
