Visit Tri-Cities Announces New Leadership with the Selection of Kevin Lewis as President & CEO

Tri-Cities, Wash. –
The next chapter of Visit Tri-Cities will be led by Kevin Lewis, an innovative and accomplished leader in tourism, as the new President & CEO after an extensive nationwide search.

“With his proven leadership, experience and dedication to the growth and success of our members, partners, and the destination, Kevin will be a remarkable asset to our community,” said Corey Pearson, Chairman of the Visit Tri-Cities Board of Directors. “We’re excited to welcome Kevin and his wife, Kayron, into the community. I appreciate the efforts of board members, community stakeholders and search firm Winner Partners, all of whom were critical in the selection process of this important role.”

Kevin is looking forward to beginning the work of promoting the destination.

"As I began exploring the opportunity with Visit Tri-Cities, I became increasingly intrigued with the destination and the organization. I discovered a dynamic team of talented professionals, an engaged and enthusiastic board, a warm and welcoming community, and a destination filled with all of my favorite outdoor activities,” Kevin said. “I’m convinced that we are always better when we are growing. When we have opportunities to expand our horizons, we become more eager and enthusiastic, and right now, I am ecstatic about the opportunity before us. I can’t wait to combine our complementary strengths and use our talents to collectively celebrate what is right in Tri-Cities."

Along with a passion for tourism and outdoor recreation, Kevin brings more than 15 years of destination marketing experience to his new role, most recently serving as the Director of Tourism for the Greater Zion Convention & Tourism Office in St. George, Utah. Under Kevin’s leadership, Washington County in Utah transformed into a mecca for outdoor adventure welcoming visitors from throughout the globe, driving economic impact and increasing tourism room tax revenues by 88% in just four years. Kevin has been recognized for his creative advertising and public relations work, including development and launch of the Greater Zion brand. He was a key player in attracting iconic sports events to the destination including the 2021 and 2022 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships as well as 2021 IRONMAN World Championship.

Kevin grew up in Salt Lake City but has lived in Washington County for 30 years. He holds degrees in Broadcast Journalism and English from Southern Utah University.

Kevin will assume responsibilities of his new role at Visit Tri-Cities on November 28, 2022.
