In it’s second year, the Cancer Crushing Cuisine program is designed with a focus on preventing and reducing cancer risk. We know that diet plays an important role in a healthy lifestyle, so our program focuses on educating our community about the cancer fighting properties and benefits of certain foods and spices, while also creating delicious dishes to enjoy.
Tri-Cities Cancer Center will once again be partnering with Red Mountain Kitchen in Downtown Kennewick to offer fun and educational Cooking Classes. When appropriate, classes will utilize ingredients found at our local farmer’s markets. Participants will be educated about the cancer fighting properties of produce and other ingredients by a Lourdes Health Dietician and the Tri-Cities Cancer Center’s Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Lindsey Josephson. Local chef, Kyle Thornhill, will then lead participants in preparing a delicious Cancer Crushing dish to enjoy!
Cost: $50 per individual per session (includes apron)
