Join us on Friday, September 11th, at the Kennewick 9/11 WTC Memorial (Southridge Sports & Events Complex) to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11. Together, we will remember the lives lost, honor the heroic first responders, and pay tribute to the resilience of our people and country.
Whether you stop by in the morning for quiet reflection or gather with us for the evening ceremony, all community members are invited to participate throughout the day.
Schedule of Events
6:30 AM | Honor Guard takes post: Guard changes every half hour.
6:30 AM | Field of Remembrance Opens: The field opens to the public for reflection and self-guided visits throughout the day.
8:46 AM - 10:28 | Moments of Silence: Five moments of silence will be observed to mark key times flights and towers were lost.
4:00 PM | On-site parking, BFT shuttle services, and seating open.
5:30 PM – 6:50 PM | Evening Memorial Ceremony: Our featured memorial program includes special guest speakers, including Former Secret Service Agent and 9/11 attack survivor Darrin Kinder, alongside formal tributes and moments of remembrance.
