Craft Beer Sourdough Focaccia Workshop

Overview

A beginner-friendly workshop where you'll make a beautiful sourdough focaccia using one of the tap house's own craft beers in the dough.

Learn the techniques that create focaccia's crisp, golden crust and light, airy interior while discovering how beer adds subtle depth of flavor to the bread.

During class you'll:

• Learn the fundamentals of making sourdough focaccia from scratch

• Mix and prepare your own beer-infused sourdough focaccia to take home

• Learn how using craft beer influences the flavor and character of the bread

• Learn an easy, low-maintenance routine for keeping your sourdough starter thriving.

• Receive printed recipes and step-by-step baking instructions

• A glass of beer from the tap house to enjoy during class

As a special bonus, each guest will take home a sample of the sourdough starter —more than 20 years old—along with instructions for feeding and caring for it so you can continue baking at home.

At the end of class, you'll head home with your prepared loaf ready for its final rise and bake in your own oven, filling your kitchen with the aroma of fresh sourdough bread.
