Tumbleweed Music Festival

Overview

Tumbleweed is a mostly free acoustic music festival that features a variety of music. It starts with a free concert Friday evening, featuring music that may be a little more alternative than the rest of the weekend. Saturday and Sunday feature 4 outdoor stages, 2 indoor stages, and 2 workshop areas that run from 11 am to 6:30 pm. Saturday night's concert and Sunday night's contra dance are the only ticketed events. This year's Saturday night concert features Reggie Garrett and Christine Gunn, Great Aunt (all the way from Australia!), and The Whateverly Brothers. Sunday's contra dance features music by Def Sturgeon with Gordy Euler calling. Other events include an open mic stage on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the Jane Titland Memorial Songwriting Contest, a Band Scamble, plus food and arts & craft vendors.
