Together Tuesday in Tri-Cities

Nestled in the sun-drenched southeastern corner of Washington state, the Tri-Cities is a hidden gem of the Pacific Northwest offering activities and amenities for every member of your travel party. So gather family and friends and enjoy group activities that will build (or test!) your relationships and create long lasting memories. Plan your group getaway to Tri-Cities on Together Tuesday!

Hiking and biking are popular group activities thanks to the miles of trails winding through the community. Enjoy expansive vistas from any of the four peaks of our uniquely Eastern Washington ridgelines (Badger, Candy, Red and Rattlesnake mountains) that can be traversed by trekkers of any experience level. The Sacagawea Heritage Trail is one of the most widely used pathways. The Heritage Trails is a 23-mile paved loop that runs along the Columbia River and connects Kennewick, Pasco and Richland.

Fun Activities for Friends & Family

Group adventures aren’t just for the great outdoors. The Tri-Cities offers a plethora of indoor action to keep friends and family entertained and engaged—even for thrill-seekers.

A “must-do” group activity in the Tri-Cities is indoor dirt cart racing! That’s right, DirtKart offers an adrenaline-infused experience at every turn. This fast and competitive activity will bring out the inner racing champion in anyone—no license required. Take your group to new heights and check out Rock Shop, an indoor climbing gym. Scale angled walls with beginner to expert level options to replicate an epic rock climb. There is no better feeling than hitting your first bullseye with a throwing star. Friends and family will delight in throwing blades during a friendly competition at AXE KPR.

The budding family scientist will appreciate a few activities that exercise the mind, so be sure to include activities
featuring Tri-Cities STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) tourism. The B Reactor National Historic Landmark is the cornerstone of the Manhattan Project National Historical Park. People from throughout the globe include this engineering marvel on their bucket lists. Located nearby is the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory Hanford or LIGO, a Noble prize-winning research facility. Your group will be guided through deep space and educated on research proving Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity. Other STEM group activities can be found here.

Whatever your friends and family are into, you can find it in Tri-Cities!
