Winter Wonderland
The 10th Annual Winter Wonderland, presented by HAPO Community Credit Union, lights up John Dam Plaza in Richland.
Beginning with a festive weekend event line-up and continuing through January 1, the plaza hosts nightly dancing-light shows, music, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, food vendors, and family-friendly holiday scenes.
Welcome to Richland's most enchanting winter event of the year! This magical celebration promises to light up your holiday season with joy, laughter, and dazzling displays.

Friday, December 5
Celebrate the highly anticipated “flipping of the light switch” into holiday mode at John Dam Plaza and HAPO Community Stage. The evening features:
5:00 pm – Live entertainment
5:30 pm – Lighted Vehicle Parade
6:00 pm – Lighting Countdown
Guests can also enjoy Santa & Mrs. Claus, holiday characters, and food vendors.
Saturday, December 6
Continue the fun at John Dam Plaza and HAPO Community Stage! More visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus, holiday characters, live entertainment, and food vendors are expected. Plus, additional activities will be announced closer to the event.

Sunday, December 7
Meet local Richland volunteers for a free walking tour at John Dam Plaza to learn about the Alphabet House models and the history of these wartime buildings still in use today.
Weekend Festivities
Every Friday and Saturday in December, attendees can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, watch dancing holiday characters, explore the Alphabet Home Village, and enjoy food vendors from 5-7pm. Be sure to mark your calendars for these extra festive hours on December 12, 13, 19, and 20!
